The architectural wood pillar holders found at Pottery Barn caught my eye.
edited to add picture from Pottery Barn
So I tried a little PB knock off.
I got mine at Goodwill.
It started out looking like this.
and I gave a whopping $0.99
My hubby spray painted it the other day when it was snowing. LOL he must love me:0)
This is what it looked like when he finished. The paint ran just a little but that didn't matter to me because I knew I was going to paint it.
I started out with some watered down brown paint.
After I got all the sides painted I started tweaking it with some more paint.
I like how it turned out, and that's what I have been working on.
